First of all, we sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are doing well.
As you know, France is entering its third week of confinement, while the situation linked to the coronavirus epidemic is unfortunately not improving.
In this context, we deemed it necessary to take new measures concerning the activity of our e-shop.
We also felt the need to take part in the collective effort necessary to get out of this health crisis as quickly as possible.
E-shop open, orders shipped at the end of containment
Three weeks ago, we announced that our eshop remained functional and that home deliveries without signature were offered during the confinement period.
Although this may still be topical, thanks to the incredible effort provided by our logistics provider as well as by the postal services and various carriers, we do not wish to increase the pressure on increasingly reduced teams, which should focus on the essentials.
We have therefore decided to stop shipments for the time of confinement. The eshop remains open, you can still place an order (and home delivery remains free). However, these will be sent when the situation allows it again.
10% of our sales for the Fondation de France
In addition, and because it is important to us to be able to help at our level, we have also decided that 10% of our turnover achieved in April will be donated to the Fondation de France.
In association with the Institut Pasteur and the AP-HP, the donations collected will be intended to help healthcare personnel, in hospitals or not, to finance research projects as well as to support actors in the field and associations that work with the most vulnerable.

While we had attacked 2020 with a bang with the release of 2 new models, and April was supposed to be the month of acceleration for Belledonne, we had to review our calendar and adapt.
Three weeks ago, we still thought that the activity could continue somehow, and that we would succeed in presenting our new collection of which we are very proud.
Today, given the news, we don't really care about that anymore, and prefer to postpone this launch to a later date, in order to carry it out in a better context (but I promise, you'll know more quickly!).
Finally, as you can imagine, this unprecedented health crisis also has consequences for the entire production chain. Raw material suppliers (Italy), production site (Portugal), logistics platform (France), no one is spared.

In particular, we talk about the economic responsibility we have towards our partners, and the importance of maintaining activity to save these companies, this know-how and these jobs.
